Is there any statistic about opposing coach selecting free throw shooter?

From rule book:

"If the offended player is injured, other than as a result of a flagrant foul or unsportsmanlike conduct, or is ejected from the game and cannot attempt the awarded free throw(s), the opposing coach shall select, from his opponent’s bench, the replacement player"

Is there any statistic with number of free throws shot by a shooter selected by opposing coach? Specially in the case the offended is injured, not ejected. I want to know how many times opposing coach has selected the free throw shooter to evaluate how fair or unfair is this rule

The only instance that I know if where this has happened: https://archive.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/44471687.html/ and it is not in the NBA.
