How exactly does the SRS stat work and how accurate do you think it is?

It is a beauty. It combines team margin of victory with a SoS component. Tends to be more predictive of playoff success than standard W/L.

yeah had the Suns at 9th overall and that piqued my interest since it obviously didnt overate them (the trend right now( or discount them seemed to be exactly where they should be
