Most Double-Doubles by One team in a Game

Post#1 » by bcortell » Sun Dec 13, 2009 7:22 pm

And odd question, but does anyone know what is the most double-doubles by one team IN ONE GAME.

I was looking over the Cavs vs. Blazers game, and I noticed the Cavs had three guys get a double double (Lebron wasn't one of them). I'm sure this has been done and beaten, but does anyone know the record?

It seems like not too long ago Williams, Boozer, Memo, Millsap, and AK were pretty close but i'm not sure. I know they've had a few times where three of them got it

Thanks for the reply guys, this certainly isn't an easy question to answer.

If I had to guess, maybe one of the nets teams with Kidd, VC, and Jefferson got four double doubles. Don't know, though.

Well thanks anyways, just a bit of my curiosity running wild here.

The Mavs could do it this season, with Kidd (assists), Marion, Howard, Dirk, and Dampier (rebounds). Wait until they play Golden State I guess, lol.

Not really surprised with either of those. Sort of surprised there are not more. Stockton/Malone?

The Hawks were 2 Horford points away from having 5 double-doubles a couple of years ago against Phoenix.

Williams 20/12
Smith 22/10
Johnson 15/10
Childress 19/10
Horford 8/15
