Hollinger has his Players estimated wins added and he had Brook Lopez at 13.9 wins added, yet the nets wont win that many games. how does this work? shouldn't he adjust for players like Lopez?

Good question. Hollinger estimates wins added based on how much their PER surpasses the average. The fact that the math clearly can't possibly be working out with the Nets has a simple answer: Hollinger's metric is wrong. To be fair, it's not like anyone has this nailed, Hollinger's just problematic because he appears to be so sure of himself.

Well... wins produced sports them, and there's generally reasonable predictability from WP to actual wins. Of course, Berri and Hollinger are Darth and Obi Wan in the basketball advanced stats world.
