I was thinking with the Nets losing Brook Lopez for the season, how about a trade of Omer Asik for Kevin Garnett? I think this helps both teams. Nets get a defensive center that can rebound better that Lopez, and Rockets get a veteran to back up Howard off the bench. But most importantly Rockets get leadeeship which I think the team lacks. I don't know if the Nets would be willing to part with draft picks or if they even hace any, but I'd be willing to throw in Dmo. Also, another option would be resigning Marcus Camby if he's available.

I really wanted KG last year, now idk, have not really seen any Nets games so I don't know much about current KG but if he didn't drop off much from last year I would do it.
Asik for KG & a few draft picks....
