Close to the playoffs in their first year back, which direction should the team take?

Make a push for the playoffs next season or try to rebuild early and grab a high draft pick next year?

Will fans in Winnipeg be patient as some of the hype clears away?

I really don't think the Jets are all that far away from being a playoff team. They have some solid core players in Kane, Ladd, Pavelec, Little, Byfuglien and Enstrom. Really all they need is some help at center and some depth in the bottom six and maybe another d-man. Paul Gaustad would be a perfect addition to this team, big center who can win faceoffs and would be a huge boost to their crappy penalty kill.

Does the city still feel as electric over this team going into season two?
