Any all-enforcer team has to include Rick Mahorn and Jeff Ruland.

Of course. Darrell Walker, Ben Wallace, big Wes was a talented enforcer as was Ruland. Nobody would eff with either guy. DeJuan Blair, Etan Thomas, Terry Davis. Ricky Sobers was one of the feistiest guards ever. Otis Thorpe was only here a year, but not a guy to mess with. I can't believe Jahidi White was on the team for six seasons.

Hmm. In the mid 1980's I was reading The Dark Knight Returns, Watchmen, Love and Rockets, Cerebus, and the early cyberpunk explosion of sci fi. Road Warrior, Mad Max, Suburbia, Repo Man, Terminator. I was listening to the Clash, blues, punk rock/hardcore, Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, Run DMC, some Led Zeppelin and acts from that prior era, 24-7 Spyz, Fishbone, Sabbath, Metallica. Sneaking out late at night to ride BMX bike to nowhere in particular. Shoplifting porn magazines. Committing occasional acts of vandalism or other misdemeanor shenanigans. Drawing pictures to entertain myself, while being cool and not bothering with having friends. Sports were off my radar, except Mike Tyson, and basketball in the Finals. Skateboarding at the time ollies were just being invented, reading about them in Thrasher magazine. Failing to make it work. Watching Bones Brigade skate videos. Then I made a crew of art/writing buddies who smoked weed, partied, debated politics, and made art. So nah, no idea what was happening with the Bullets of that era. Crack did come into play and kids started buying guns and getting shot though so I was aware of those sorts of bullets. And at any moment Ronald Reagan and the USSR were likely to push the button and we would all have to live in a post apocalyptic wasteland so sports were basically pointless.

Think there’s a book in there. Add some major criminality, violence and sex, and then “move over George Pelecanos”.
There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics — quote popularized by Mark Twain.

My favorite team would probably be:

PG Arenas/Sato
SG Hamilton/Legler
SF C.Butler/Avdija
PF Gugliotta/Howard
C Nene/Muresan

Honorable mentions: Juan Dixon, Mo Wagner, Garrison Mathews, Darrell Walker, Michael Ruffin

This isn't the best team or anything. It's just full of guys that I like for irrational, or sometimes rational reasons. There may also be some recency bias.

Ha! Tell that to Brendan Haywood and his fistful of Etan's dreadlocks.

I'd take Brendan as an enforcer over the Poet:

Misdemeanor criminality. Breaking into football stadiums to have bottle rocket wars or drink beer and flick bottle caps up for the bats to chase under the summer lights. Lovelorn romance more than sex. And peripheral violence with acquaintances getting their eyeball shot out in a drug deal gone wrong, or beat to death in a recording studio and left to be found. But all 3rd hand stories more than direct eyes on scene. Some epic bike chases though with dogs after us, or shot at with BB guns, or free climbing 200 foot cliff faces in an urban park near the housing projects. Sure, I bet there is a memoir in there somewhere.

I'm around. There just hasn't been anything new to say in the past few weeks. And I've been busy with work.

I hope all is well with you, buddy.

Wizards announce the "Big 3", Gil, Caron and Jamison will be part of a halftime celebration at the
NOV 18th game vs the Heat.

It's really good (and surprising) to see Arenas being gradually welcomed back into the fold.

Agreed.
Gil was a tremendous player, & he is an exceptional personality. I'd love to see him featured as a key part of team history.
