Deni only played 9 minutes - is he back in the dog house?
Gafford missing the free throws gave me Nene flashbacks.

But there’s part of me that’s happy that our team consistently gives opposing fans of terrible franchises brief moments of joy.
Most beautifully stated.

Early foul trouble and they started going big with Gaff and KP. Also, Kispert had a nice game so he got a lot of minutes at the 3. Once they were coming back, they just rode a certain lineup and they needed points. I guess Wes just didn't feel it with him tonight. He does that with Gaff and Deni but they were also getting a million paint points and he needed more size and beef so Gill and Gibson also played. Kind of a limited roster, but no excuse for the way they played in that first half.

Paint defense. and Paint control on offense. Rebounds.
Amazing lol
After scoring 107 points in three quarters Charlotte only scored 10 in the fourth. If Beal doesn’t go full hero this game is likely a win.
WUJ FINALLY put the right five in the court.
His next revelation needs to be STOP THE FREAKING BEAL ISO BALL at the end.
Give the ball to KUZMA. He’s much more clutch and much quicker to pass to an open shooter. Beal looked off Kispert.
Add to this: Charlotte led 115-106 with 5:09 to play.
With Beal, Kispert, Kuzma, Porzingis, Gafford on the court they only scored 2 more points the rest of the game.
Brad did well UNTIL the last 1:30.
At 2:00 Porzingis missed a step back 12-foot shot. Oubre forced Zinger into a fadeaway that came up short. The rest of the way Beal is the only player,( aside from a brief handoff to Kuzma and he gave it right back to Brad), to touch the ball. The two turnovers were typical Beal but the most egregious misstep was the lack of a set play the last 12 seconds. Bradley had Kuzma in the left corner and Kispert in the right. Both in ready positions to shoot. Instead of driving and dishing he got his midrange shot.
He missed.
Gafford got the board. However, he was too weak to finish through uncalled contact; but he did grab the rebound and attempted a put back. Honestly, if Beal gives it up at 5 seconds to Kuzma I believe the Wizards could have won on a layup or a Gafford dunk. There are so many plays not being called while Beal stops the ball time and again. This is on the coach IMO. Instead of having Beal hold the ball the entire 12 seconds, there needed to be a set play with a counter or two. Beal needs to make everything the same EXCEPT FOR his final execution.
This is the part where WUJ needs to evolve.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Agree with this, especially the last part. There should be more ball movement and less dribbling by Beal as the clock runs down. Plays should be run that forces the D to react.
This has been an ongoing problem down the stretch of close games…and it too often ends up with a turnover or a rushed shot because the shoot clock is running out.
You’re right…it’s a coaching problem.

I was really glad to see him get more run but dang he has got to shoot
better at the charity stripe.

Eric Collins and Dell Curry on the Hornets broadcast sounded surprised by Brad’s turnovers
Brad can’t fool us. We are familiar with his game!

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.
