WUJ seems determined to not give Carey Jr a chance. Would rather play Gibson or Gill at C.
Jordan Goodwin wasn't getting a chance either, but injuries and Davis ineptitude gave no other option.

So as of today:

-1 game out of the 5th worst record
-1.5 games out of 4th worst record
-2 games out of 3rd worst record
-3.5 games out of 2nd and 1st worst records

Next 22 games are:

@LAC
@LAL
@PHX
@UTA
@SAC
PHI
PHX
@ORL
@MIL
@MIL
@OKC
NO
CHI
NYK
GS
@NY
ORL
@DAL
@ HOU
@NO
@SA
@HOU

15 of 22 still on the road. With 14 against team in their top 10 of their conferences. I can pick out maybe 2 to 3 games we'd be favored for even fully healthy. This stretch puts us awfully close to trade deadline and Beal will be eligible to be traded.

The next 11 games 9 of 11 on the road, with 10 of 11 in the top 10 of their conference and 8 games with teams in their top 8.

A 15 game losing streak is very possible in my summation of things and I don't even think being at full strength will help things out all that much.

There’s simply no reason to watch other than habit, which is it for me. Wizards games are put on because I’ve trained myself to watch them. But they’ve been absolutely relegated to background fodder as I do other things.

We’ve been bad before, that’s obviously nothing new to this franchise. But there’s always been a reason to watch. Not with this team. Truly irrelevant in every way, shape and form. And the laughing-stock of the TNT crew for those that didn’t see it.

I watched AFTER the outcome was certain.

The last 7 minutes was craptastic coaching — up until Jokic sat down. Then LOSER COACH brought Gafford and Goodwin off the bench. Denver was hammering all manner of dunk and doing Globetrotter stuff—and that is when WUJ conceded .

This pea brain gonna roll with his Denver guys and Gibson.

YES I WOULD SAY THIS MAN TO MAN

I name call. I arm chair QB. Wes Senior I saw when MY DADDY took me to see the Baltimore Bullets play at Cole Field House IIRC. It was 1973 or ‘74. I saw fat jiggle on the greatest HOOPER (f autocorrect). He threw an outlet pass with two hands and a flick full court.

WUJ has a Dad who is in the basketball HOF. My Dad is buried at Arlington. I could list an IBSN or PERHAPS some of his surviving cronies would say what he did in Vietnam or as an aviator.

At this point in my life I’m going to go unfiltered. Aaron Rodgers is losing friends. Brady looks human. Lebron is getting old. Shoot, I’m over 60 and old enough to be all of their Daddy’s.

If I offend please ignore or just don’t read NEGATIVE ENERGY per your perception. Cognitive dissonance is a drain.

So is watching the Leonsis Washington Beals. Or Genersls. The guys are Rich. They’re competent NBA players each and every one…maybe including Johnny Davis.

End of rant

The game featured all players competing. End was kinda sorta predictable. The SHODDY COACHING was the decision and personnel allowing damn near 100 points in the paint. At the same time BARTON, Morris, Kispert each balled out. There was lots of effort INCLUDING TAJ Gibson.

But his coach????

Nah man.

I didn’t like Flip Saunders the WizArds coach EARLY in his first season. November or December I was flabbergasted. He blamed players and went 27-55 or so back/to-back. But HE LOVED BLATCHE as if Andray were KG part deux.

Nobody here blamed Flip but LOTS BLAME AB. Blatche was serviceable with the NJ Nets and he flourished in the Phillipines.

I respect Saunders except for him labeling players as knuckleheads. McGee is still in NBA. Olympian. Three rings. Still playing at 35. DeAndre Jordan? Similar careers.

Swaggy P? He had a nice run with LAL. Played til he was over 30. Didn’t allow Kobe to punk him.

I’m out
