Given the benefits of tanking I’ve come to accept losing. But I still prefer winning.

Clutch Beal. :D

Well, they tried to lose but Beal was superb at the end after a terrible first half. But I thought the key was Gibson laying some mean screens and getting some tough rebounds and loose balls. Deni was solid but a win is a win I guess. Didn't think we would get this w/o KP, though they missed Booker a lot more.

What's that about a blind squirrel? :D

The answer to your first question is, no. We can't afford Lavine if we keep Beal and Porzingis on the roster. This is what happens when you pay a non-All Star a max contract. You can't afford any expensive depth.

I guess the upside here is that Kuzma played very well against the team most mentioned in trade rumors as a suitor for him.

Told you guys...forget a top 5 pick. They are picking between 10-12. This is going to be a start of a little mini win streak that ruins the ping pong balls.

Thought we would pull this out with the clutch 38-6 or whatever run. Didn't have enough left in the tank to do what we needed to do, but I'd put this in the moral victory category, given our performance. Some clutch plays at the very end nearly had the game end up going our direction any way.

Back at it against the Jazz and I'm confident we'll come back strong and get things back on track.
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

Deni had a solid game. There’s the “glue guy” - he does a bit of everything. Happy for his performance. It’s ok to sprinkle a couple wins here and there. We are still on track for those ping pong balls. Remember way back when the Spurs only had Robinson? They had to tank heavy, aided by injury, to get Duncan. We can do this!

I typically want to see a win as a fan, and I feel empathy for the players when they play hard and lose. But I don't feel a shred of that right now. I'm basically hate watching the team. I want them to lose 15 in a row. 20 in a row. 30! I want Ted to suffer, day after day, week after week, until he finally commits to a rebuild.

Can't remember the last time I saw one player on a team with a +- 48 points bigger than another!

Beal: +25
Barton: -23

2022 being almost over, I think we should give Barton the 2022 Best Performance by a Supporting Tanker right now!

The defense is still awful. The only reason we won is because they didn't have Booker, Cam Johnson or Cameron Payne.

Indeed. Barton is done.

I didn’t see him play much over the past few years with the Nuggs, but rumor has it he was atleast decent. I haven’t seen him do a single thing that contributes to winning bball here. In fact, he looks like he just doesn’t care.

Is he in the Tank witness protection program?

He literally just gets shots up. There was a moment where he looked like he was giving Gafford flack because Ayton got a dunk. I was like you have to be kidding me, this matador preaching to anyone about defense is adorable.

He doesn't play any semblance of team-oriented basketball but still gets his 22 minutes a night because he's a vet.

The thing Kev's prediction machine can't "predict" is injuries and coaches resting stars against garbage teams like the Gizzards.

Ruins the predictions.

We almost lost to Kyle Lowry and the Four Seasons when we were at full strength, I'm not too worried about injuries on other teams. Fact is even at the beginning of the season when the team was playing some form of team ball they stunk on the road and against decent teams. PHX just **** the bed and couldn't make a shot down the stretch and went away from Ayton. The tank will endure, have no worries.

Plus, Orlando continue to win. I loss tonight and we are again tied for 5th worst record with a continuing brutal stretch of basketball for the next month. If SA someone beat NO tonight, we are virtually tied with them as well for 4th worst record.

Don't poo poo on the tank energy.
