I might be in the minority but I think fully healthy, this team MIGHT actually be good.
Clearly not championship level but not nearly as bad as the record indicates.
Good no. Mediocre yes. Meaning they win a decent amount of games and be competitive. When another medicore team puts up a half ass effort, then can run out to a big lead and hold on.
When healthy were no longer bottom 5 but still towards the bottom half of the league.

No no no.... Bottom 5 is right where we are. Although we have NOT had a hard schedule, we are 13-21.
1. Only 4 teams in the league have worse records than the Wizards, & you can expect that to get worse not better: right now, our record is identical to the Magic, but, they have gone 8-2 in their last 10 games! They'll pass us soon.
2. We are down 2.5 points per game to our opponents this year. Only 5 teams in the entire league are worse than that. The Magic, Hornets, Pistons, Spurs & Rockets.
IOW, we are on our way down not up. We may not get to 30 wins this year. We may not get tp 25 wins next year. We may not get to 20 wins two years from now.
Only an unbelievable, unpredictable piece of extremely good luck can prevent this.
Anyone who thinks that picking up Dallas cast-off Kristaps Porzingis somehow changed this is just fooling himself. Our performance speaks for itself.

Vegas predicted 34 wins I think. Are they fooling themselves and not as wise as you? That's all I'm saying and its what I pretty much predicted as well. Most outlets also had them in the mid-30s. That's finishing 12-14 games under .500. That's not a good team at all. I'm suggesting in league where there are 7-8 teams that might not mind missing the postseason, there are decent amount of wins available and with a full roster, there may be enough there to remain at the cusp play-in contention.

Right, which is what makes Turd happy…a late season run followed by the play-in…which means picking 11-15th in the draft and selecting another mediocre good character chap

WP
THEY ARE GOOD FULL STRENGTH when the right assembled players suit up.
I knew as soon as Gafford and Porzingis saw the court together that would be a game changer. Wright back to tighten up perimeter defense. Rui is getting his one trick on well at SF. Dude is a bucket. Beal? Elite midrange scorer. Kispert is important and improved. Corey is a hammer on defense, slow but physical. Much more athletic I thought. Morris can make plays with turnovers. Gibson is so crafty. He is better on offense.
The problem with this team has been coaching. Particularly coaching in crunch time. Beal … nvm it’s Christmas!

There’s not a high-end superstar but size and shooting abound.
