I have about reached the same point with the Wizards that I have with the Commanders, the Commanders I don't watch at all and the Wizards I engage in mild rubbernecking, I'm just too-numb and deflated, especially after we busted badly with Davis.

We got our @sses kicked. Again.

Beal would have helped but it ain't like we're only one player away.

Our last 3 draft picks have been pretty meh both lately and overall.
Not even counting Davis. SMH.

Someone on the post game radio show asked Glen about why the Wizards can't seem to identify any players that out perform their draft spot, like the Pelicans and Pacers seem to be able to do. The Pels had both Jones and But Glen shut him down, just asking if Rui is improving, and isn't Kispert good, and it's not productive to just complain over who the Wizards should have picked, blah blah. The Pels started Murphy and Jones, both of whom are better than our higher drafted guy. And Alverado and Marshall were both undrafted, and seem better than Kispert, Davis, Deni, and at time even Rui. So frustrating. We need a new front office, with a new outlook and new way of doing things. Tommy learned at the knee of Ernie, who stunk for more than a decade.

I’m sorry Nigel—— I keep making this mistake myself. $280 ain’t bad for great nba tickets, parking, food and a beer for 2 but it’s bad for anything associated with this product !

Yet, his stat line reads 6/13 FGs, 4/4 FTs, 8 rbs, in just over 23 mins. He did have 5 TOs. Was it his (lack of) defense, or a number of bonehead plays, or something else?

To answer your question, Kuzma is allowed to treat the game like a mix of his personal audition for the rest of the league and and And 1 mix tape.

He takes a lot of bad shots. Tip your hat to him that he can make some of them, but they completely kill the flow of the offense, other players stagnate, and we have all witnessed when they don't go in.

He's not locked in on defense on most possessions, which is why he constantly gets burned by inferior players. I'm also of the opinion that his rebounding is somewhat inflated. Constantly leaves his man to go for rebounds, and "steals" rebounds out of teammates hands. And this is not without evidence, we've all seen him flagrantly hunt for stats.

He was the talent to be a really solid player, he just doesn't have the head for it. He's got the Beal syndrome. Wants to be liked by everybody, and gets a pass way too often because he has some nice counting stats.

In addition, last night was on full display that not all players are held to the same accountability. WUJ not only let him stay in the game when he was playing reckless, getting offensive fouls, and in major foul trouble, but WUJ also let him stay in for the entirety of when NOs just pummeled us. Kuzma just waved WUJ off. Then after he **** up, and fouls out, he storms off to the locker room punching stuff.

We wonder why young guys are struggling with consistency when there is no reward for consistency on this team. We have a coach that hasn't a clue on how to reign in any player with more than 5 years of experience. We all saw how long it took for Barton to get out of the rotation despite being a massive negative for the vast majority of the season. I guess I should be happy it only took WUJ about half a season to realize that or have the guts to do anything about it.

Kuzma is a much more charismatic, slightly more talented Blatche.

Perfectly said.
