It's totally within character for the team to wait until the last minute before trading Kuzma. There's just no chance that Ted will commit to any kind of tank while there is still hope. So it doesn't surprise me at all that no trade has happened yet and I'm not even upset about it.

But if this team is 3 games or more out of 10th when the Trade Deadline rolls around, Sheppard has to talk Ted into pulling the trigger on a Kuzma trade. You just can't let an asset walk out the door when you can turn it into multiple picks. This would be an even bigger mistake than the Bertans mistake.

Refs put up a pathetic performance.
Wizards team defense is bad.
Wizards offense is - take the toughest shot possible.
Yours, captain.

That would be the rational course of action but don’t forget this is the franchise that gave Beal a NTC…

In any case, we shall hope and pray for more losses pre deadline…especially with Beal in the fold so they can’t use the injuries excuse…

Just a couple more losses for us and wins for Chicago and Toronto! Let's push this thing to 4 games back before the Trade Deadline.

4 games back of 10th should do the trick. Concerning though that 5 out of 11 games before deadline are against teams with worse records than us.

Hooray, I missed a game. Not thinking about the Wizards is a start in the right direction,
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

WUJ is a human tank. No feel for matchups. Lost the game at the exact moment he chose to close with a back court of Krispy and Morris.

In Tommy’s partial defense, I think our talent is better than our record. Of course, he is the one who picked the head coach.

WUJ is just like his dad. Terrific man, terrible coach.

I think he should have went back to Gaff-KP lineup when it was 106-98.

GSW had trouble with that.

Probably better to close with Monte-Delon-Kuz with the big men.

His father was a good coach. Those teams played hard, defended, and got a lot out of their (limited) talent.

He was an abominable GM.

That’s the one that hurts.

Because he was a great player, and it surely took off some of that shine.

It should also be said that he was — unlike 90 percent of athletes, then or now — a worthy person for a kid to emulate.

Yeah but ... That "mistake" ended up getting us a Unicorn in his prime. Boom!

Shepp is playing 4-D chess and Ted (and Doc, and myself) are the only ones smart enough to see it. If you can't fathom the genius of letting Kuzma walk while getting nothing in return then you aren't properly lost in the Shepp Sauce. Drink up, my friend, and behold the art of the middle-build.

Sorry, I'm baked.

Good catch. The one with Malcolm X (or whoever it was) and G Wiz was too funny.

IMO, that is the core fan delusion.
Every team's fans think that their talent is better than their record.

We are a lousy team. Our players aren't nearly as good as we'd like to think they are.
