The wizards used the 9th, 10th, and 15th overall picks on essentially nothing (so far). When you needed someone to step up and create offense with Beal/Kuzma/Porzingis out, it’s Monte freaking Morris ISOs.

Meanwhile the 27th overall pick in 2021 is dropping 44 on you. Bad coaching, wasted picks, treadmill.

Monte Morris taking the ball in clutch last night if not KP for more ISOs was weird. Despite he did make the shots, with Deni having a good night, u gotta wonder.
Not even talking about defense against Cam, that was weird too.

Why is WUJ playing him?

I think one of Barton or Nunn will be gone by the Trade Deadline. The initial goal is to try and move one of them in exchange for someone else having a lower salary (or, even better, for a 2nd round pick). If that doesn't work out, then we will buy one of them out - whomever is willing to leave the most money on the table.

So Nunn is still on the team because they're waiting until the Trade Deadline to see if he can be moved first.

Which also might explain why WUJ is still playing him.

After he came in & had a terrific first game followed by an ok 2d game it made perfect sense to feature him some....

Self destruction is the best kind of losses. Two horrific blown games might send this team reeling, possibly to the point they won't recover and I'm here for it!

There's zero chance of getting Wemby. They are too good, unfortunately. Trade KP or Kuzma or both. And maybe you go into some sort of tank mode....
