His job seems to be primarily to score points off the bench and secondarily to set up others to score points. Sometimes he seems to focus too much on scoring before thinking about sharing the ball, but he’s been getting points and assists, and basically doing what we’d hoped Barton might do. It’s not like he’s consistently killing us out there. I think it’s kind of fun to watch.

Completely agree with this take.

Also, the athleticism and shot creation ability stands out imo.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Nunn had a terrific first game for us. Overall, he's played like the meh journeyman he is.

There's nothing the matter with that.

I certainly see no reason to buy him out. & I can imagine him in a Wizards uniform next year -- if he comes cheap.

I could see us using the BAE on him we didn't use it this year so we should have it unless we use it on a buy out guy which I doubt we do. Or a vet min or use hi bird rights for something under 5 mill a year. He's played good as a bench guy but we have a lot of sub non starter PG on the team. We need an upgrade there and will probably look to use the MLE to do so before we sign kuz and KP. So I less we just ignore that upgrade we are gonna need to get rid of one of Morris, wright, Nunn or Goodwin.

From another thread -- to correct what I wrote in the post just above...
payitforward wrote:...Nunn has been a pleasant surprise, playing better than there would have been reason to expect....

Nunn is posting a .603 TS% with us.... Not to mention that he's posting career highs in assists & boards as a Wizard. In fact, if Kendrick Nunn can sustain his play at this level, his career will be on the upswing....

To extend on that a bit... if you look at Kendrick Nunn's numbers for the Lakers this year, they are just absolutely awful.

His TS% there was 50%; with us it's 60%.
He's getting more than twice as many assists with us with only a very slight uptick in TOs.
& he's posting almost twice as many steals as in LA.

Good for him! I hope he keeps it up, & if so, then -- assuming the price is low -- I hope we keep him.

Tommy does pretty good on those referbished good purchases he makes. KP was one of those. Wright off an injury's could count as that too. Nunn has been a really good bench player with us and if he plays well might eran himself a contract.
