29% right now for a top 4 pick. Not sure if the Wizards have entered the full tank mode mentality- Friday night against the Spurs will be a big test- although the Spurs did manage to overcome a huge second half deficit against the Spurs- and will probably be out to avenge the end of their losing streak.
Nuggets are 2-5 in the their last 7 but the Wizards will be on a back to back.

One more year wasted.
Beal’s value in trade is less this year than last year.
Oh well…

You're not sure? Beal and Porzingis played a combined 70 minutes...they were definitely trying to win. They just suck dude. It's that simple.
And they're going to end up with the 9th pick. Book it.

Shepp fighting for his job. He has a win or else edict. Him tanking and sitting guys is not an option for him. Now its getting very unlikely and the team itsself is starting to unravel but they are definitely trying to win games. They are just literally the worst team in the league at actually trying to win. No team with a worst record is out here going for the play-in. Blazers front office packed it in weeks ago. Indy is just doing enough not to appear obvious.

They'll never learn. I feel sorry for everyone who actually watches games and invests lots of time for Wizards stuff. I gave up a while ago, but I still check this board regularly and follow Wiz twitter and so on. Maybe one day things change...

5th worst is within our grasp. Gotta keep losing. It won’t be easy, but I’m sure the guys can pull it off.

Yeah, because they decided not to play Kyle Kuzma, the record without Kuzma is worse than without KP. Not saying they aren't trying to win but they also threw out a 3 guard lineup of Nunn, Goodwin, and Wright. Not to mention Johnny Davis throwing up a shot and hitting the side of the backboard. And they are more than 2 games back from the 10 spot. Could be even worse if they do what they are supposed to do and lose to the nuggets. But yeah they did bring back Beal with around 10 minutes to go in the quarter. But they are also running out of runway this season.
But they are more than capable of losing to the Spurs - the Hawks just did so by playing Murray 39 minutes a few days ago.

Re: GT #72: Bullets @ Magic 7 PM (NBCSW/980 AM)
A play that encapsulates this team is when Porzingis stepped out of the way to give Wagner that dunk. Just really captures this team's leadership and spirit in a nut shell.
I've really chilled on Porzingis. First and foremost he's is a blackhole on offense. He kills ball movement and rarely passes the ball even when he has wide open shooters or is in a terrible position. 2.6 assists per game (to 2.2 TOs) for the amount of time he plays and the amount of touches he get stinks. His rebounding has also slipped to is the lowest it's been in 5 years despite playing a career high in minutes.
Only redeeming counting stat qualities is blocked shots, which are near a career low, and his FT%. Also averaging a career high in steals at almost 1 per game.
His defense to me since mid-December or so, after a really promising start to the season, has been pretty bad. I haven't look up advanced stats or any other metrics, but by the eye test, he is getting blown by on the regular, not closing out on shooters, doesn't communicate well, getting outmuscled and out positioned by smaller guys, and is in no mans land way too often for someone his size. I've heard numbers say Gafford and Porzingis are a great combo, but I'm just not seeing it, certainly in the past 15 or so games.
Long and short, I'm just not impressed given the accolades he seemingly gets from many folks here, and he rarely gets any criticism on this board despite leaving a lot to be desired. He is supposed to be a "leader" on this team and seems to get a free pass a lot.

Beal/Kuzma sit. Blazers and Pacers win. Friday is a big one though against one of the worst teams in the league.
