If you're wondering who the idiot is that gave the A grade, it's me and I stand by it. Shepp's egregious incompetence got us the rebuild we've all be craving. The rest of you lack my foresight.

I blame Ted Leonsis for hiring Tommy Sheppard.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

I feel worse about this team since the Beal trade because I cannot fathom what the new regime is doing, but I fully recall how the Wizards got in the mess they're in now having few bargaining chips. Tommy Sheppard and that Beal contract are the cause.

It's good to have a plan. You're asking three guys to come together in the last two or less weeks and create one. The plan is to get rid of everyone and try and get the best draft capital they can, while creating cap space. Tommy and Ted effed this up so badly and let's remember that Rome wasn't built in a day.

I will say this about Sheppard...his trades were decent. Winger, so far, is not impressing me one bit. My reaction (and the reaction of most pundits) is that he's getting fleeced for minimal assets.

So 1 point for TS...he looks to be way savvier when it comes to trades than Winger.

Tommy's trades were decent at keeping us below mediocre. Winger is betting heavy on draft acumen. He's betting that his 2nd round picks will end up better by far than all of Tommy's lottery picks.
