YOUR Washington Bullets are 6-25!
A win was had on Friday night against Brooklyn. It looks like we can expect one win a week for the rest of the season.
This afternoon, Trae Young and his ATL Hawks are in town to ring in the New Year.
2024 comes with another blowout loss, I think!

Kuzma with 31 points on 22 shots, and only 1 FTA. Hey, whatever works I guess. 4 point game halfway through the 3rd quarter.

A respectable loss given the team missed 36 3-pointers.
As usual, the story of the game is rebounding. The Wizards were outrebounded 58-42.

How is even possible that the Wizards are this bad at rebounding? Their current DRB% is the worst by any team since the 2011/12 season.

I share the feeling…Nepo Wes is a weak coach who lets these 2 do whatever the heck they want, especially Kuz. Can’t wait for him to be gone.

Yikes. I think they regret not having a defensive back up center, or maybe it’s a feature of the tank. If we had Goga Bitadze might have 10 wins.

Everyone should be gone by the deadline except for Deni and BC and maybe Gafford unless they get a good offer. I really mean it.

Easier said than done. Nobody wants our players. Poole is immovable. Davis probably is too. Muscala, Gallinari, and Shamet have no value except possibly as filler.
Basically, the only guys who could conceivably be moved for a positive return are:
Coulibaly
Avdija
Gafford
Kispert
Jones
Kuzma
Wright
Of those guys, I think we all agree that Wright and Jones should be moved for any future assets available. They're fine players and good guys, but they're not part of the future.
Gafford and Kispert should probably be available, but I don't really have a burning desire to actively move them. If somebody makes a good offer, I'll entertain it; but if we end up keeping them, I'm fine with it.
I think most of us agree that Coulibaly and Avdija should be retained.
That really leaves just Kuzma as the one worth debating. I continue to be a supporter of Kuzma. We don't have anyone else capable of taking on his usage, and Kuzma is actually holding up as the #1 scoring option much better than I expected. I just don't agree with the notion that if Kuzma is moved, suddenly Coulibaly would become a capable offensive option. The guy is a walking turnover machine at the moment. He needs to be a low usage role player until he develops his handle.
I'd trade Kuzma if the return was really good - like two FRP's or one late lotto pick - but I'm not moving him for the sake of moving him. I think he is fulfilling the role we signed him for nicely.
