But even that is not an issue.

Tommy could simply have taken Tari Eason or Jalen Williams at 10. Or traded down & come away with Tari Eason & another terrific prospect.

Tommy was undeniably awful in this & every draft he ever ran. That's why he's gone.
Eason was the pick I wanted in that draft.

Houston has killed it in past few drafts.

We need to keep an eye out for Summer 2026. Jabari Smith and Tari Eason are restricted free agents that year when Houston will already be paying Brooks, Green and Sengun a combined $92M while also having to keep an eye toward the following season when Thompson and Whitmore need to be resigned. It's possible that they will only be able to pay one of Smith/Eason and we should have the cap room to sign the other.
Tori Eason will be the bargain. He's not a scorer. His defense will be undervalued.

It would be great to have Coulibaly, Eason, and Sarr in a couple of years. Combine them with Ace Bailey or Cooper Flagg or Igor Denim; along with Carrington and George, and that team would compete.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Eason was the other guy I wanted but he felt more like a lottery pick, Daniels was someone I thought warranted being taken at 10 and fit a big need.

In that draft Daniels, Eason, and Andrew Nembhard were the guys I really wanted, but the Daniels miss was the one that left me feeling deflated on draft night.

Sheppard was decent in comparison to the absolute draft crap of Grunfeld, Dawkins is a whole different monster. We both like the same football team, I honestly think he models himself after our NFL team's GM and that's a very good thing.

I'm extra on board with Dawkins knowing we share that. :D

The two fights leading up to it were actually good.

Didn't bother watching the main event.

Good, I wish I hadn't. Not just because it was boring, but really because it was kind of dystopian. Something really wrong about it.

Let's take maybe the greatest athlete ever, this hugely inspirational guy to people my age, and pay him $20M to get beat up by the worst person ever. It was like elder abuse.

Mike Tyson is considered an inspiration? Seriously?

Maybe not to you. He's right below Michael Jordan for me.
