I mean, there's some logic in mixing in vets with the young uns so there's at least two players on the floor who know what they're doing. But I don't think you can tell vets that they have two conflicting goals - one is to support the development of the young players (that is, pass them the ball) and two, get your own (DON'T PASS THE BALL) to boost your trade value. Which is it. You can't ask them to do both because they're contradictory.

IMHO developing the young talent takes precedent over maxing out the trade value of marginal vets. Getting a slightly better value for Kuz isn't going to matter if Sarr completely flames out. To the extent those two things are related you should worry more about young player development.

I would be putting feelers out right now about vets interested in developing their coaching skills and trade Kuz for those guys asap. "Can you be a coach on the floor for our young players"

And to make matters worse, it appears our rookies and Bilal are regressing as of late.

It’s going to be a long season…

A ton of careless TOs and specifically
really poor shooting especially 3 pt shooting.

At least the team was fun to watch early in the season when the young guys were starting. They need to go back to that, announce the arrival of the “youth movement” for the team, start Poole, Bub, Bilal, Kyshawn, Sarr, let them set the tone with energy, effort, ball movement. Allow them the chance to develop, figure it out, gain some confidence & assert themselves.

Bring Kuz, Val, Brogdon, Kispert off the bench, let them go against 2nd units & put up numbers to boost their trade value. They’ll still loose, but at least it will give us a reason to watch.

Yep, unwatchable now. You could run two teams 4 minutes on 4 minutes off and make it a competition. At least that would be interesting....

Bub, Brogdan, George, Bilal, Sarr

vs.

Poole, Kispert, Kuz, Bagley, Jonas
