Filipowski, 21 years old

Or

Sarr. 19 years old

Sarr is a terrible offensive player. EFG of 46.3% (worst NBA C's over 20 min per game). Filipowski - 59.5%.
Sarr is a terrible rebounder. KF better but not great. 8.7 trb per 36 vs 10.
Sarr is a good shot blocker, help defender, but can't guard centers. Haven't seen enough of KP to know, but he's not a rim protector.

Wizards are a much better team with Holmes at center, and Holmes is considered a backup.

But Sarr only 19. With his slight frame, can he gain enough bulk and strength to be an NBA center? We'll find out.

Filipowski is top 7 in BPM & VORP for rookies so I don’t think describing him as terrible is accurate. ...

VORP is mystery meat.
Kyshawn blocks 3 time more shots per minute than KF -- & Sarr blocks, literally, 8 times as many!

I described him as "pretty terrible" & am happy to stick with the description.

In fact, overall, all 3 of these guys have been pretty terrible, & Alex has been the worst of them!

Here's hoping they all turn it around, right...?

Hey, no question about it! So far, Alex Sarr has been absolutely terrible. Awful. Just plain lousy. Ugh. He has to get better -- a lot better! -- or he'll be out of the league in 2-3 years.

One thing is sure -- at least so far Filipowski looks like better value. Guy was taken in R2. Not 2d or 24th in the draft.

Rookies can be awful initially (*Cough Alex *Cough), but then get better as the year progresses
