Man I am still reeling from this deadline!

I was fully prepared for us to be stuck with all our dead weight. I didn't see anyone wanting Kuzma, or Jonas or Brogdon...

We were able to Dump Kuzma and Valenciunas AND stunningly Bagley, Johnny Davis and Baldwin!

And we brought back good assets to boost our rebuilding efforts in 1st round picks in '25 AND '26, and rookie AJ Johnson!

Plus a couple vets who are better mentors than we sent the ones we sent out in Smart and Middleton. Alex Len adds center depth and a good sparring partner for Sarr and Tristan in practices, Colby Jones is a solid G prospect as well.

I love our roster now in terms of youth and upside with AJ Johnson, Bub, Bilal, Jones, Champagnie, Kyshawn, Sarr, Vukcevic, with some good players entering their prime in Poole, Kispert, and Bey. Mix in some good vets for stability and mentoring with Smart, Brogdon, Middleton, Holmes..

And more good young players to add in the upcoming draft now with 2 1st rounders, including potentially the #1 pick Cooper Flagg... :wizard:

Wow... I mean seriously look where we are at right now with this compared to this same time a year ago.

I love it. Best deadline I can remember as a Wizards/Bullets fan. Love this rebuild and youth movement, and watching them in the 1st game afterwards vs Cleveland was so much fun, and just a sign of what's to come, this ship is still boarding and hasn't even left the dock yet!

Former terp. NO Actually went to Xavier

23 yo, 2nd rnd pick #34 overall

Wiz plans for him? I've no idea.

He has a YouTube, not the one doc posted

Looks like the pick will be in the 16-21 range, That is an additional pick just outside the lottery in a deep draft class.
Bags is getting a very tiny amount of play time. Davis is effectively out of the league.
Jones has something to show. Smart is providing veteran leadership along with some good minutes.

I think the Wizards won this trade.

Only if Memphis gets through the play in which they should do. But if they don't we're screwed.

I am legitimately concerned that Ja is going to finger-gun that team into the lottery and we will lose out on our pick.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.
