You are thinking of it wrong. Sure, we dropped to 2nd, but God will punish Utah for shameless tanking and reward us for bravery under fire.

Wrong. They can pick 6th. And yea, this is a #soWizards win.

Exact same situation happened in the 2010 season finale.

He's trying to get Adam Silver to throw a bone with the ethical tanking message.

Correct. I still dont care. As I said, we didnt win that last game by starting Middleton & Smart.
We were the youngest team in the league this year by minutes played (23.35 y/o), and over 3 years younger than the average team (26.46). That even accounts for the 1st 60% of the year and over 10% of total minutes being played by JV, Brogdon, and Kuz...and Kispert didnt even play the last month of the year.
Of the top 5 minutes played, only Poole at 25 is a vet. The other 4 were Bub (19), Bilal (20), Sarr (19), and KG (21). Do you know how ridiculous that is?
The last month or so of the year, our AVERAGE age in terms of minutes player was UNDER 22.
And these werent undrafted guys or random G-League guys to tank...We are talking about 8k minutes to 4 1st round picks, 3 of which were lotto picks.

High IQ, hardworking lotto picks getting a ton of minues and showing promise. No major injuries, no alarming flaws/setbacks/etc, and we have an 80% chance at a top 5 pick/as high a chance as anyone at getting a top 3 pick....
Other than the Deni trade, this was an almost flawless rebuild year

Stating the obvious, it comes down to making the best choice (when drafting) among the available
choices. So far, they've been really good in spite of the W-L record. Or maybe the positive evidence
is actually because of our W-L record, how well positioned we are going into the lottery in a fairly loaded year.
