In the “2025 Offseason” thread you complained about the current lack of activity and discussion on the board and now you’re complaining about what people are actually interested in debating and discussing. You can’t have it both ways.payitforward wrote:This thread gives me the willies a little.
Neither of these guys has been genuinely "good" yet.
Not for a season, not for half a season, not over a dizen game stretdch.
Nor has Sarr; nor has Bub.
I want them to be good! Obviously. But I don't want to invoke the curse of les Boulez by giving them premature props!

Why not both? I’m greedy I want both + Tre+ Cam to be our 2-3-4s of the future.

Since he doesn’t appear to want it, I'll take the roll of
PiF for the sake of discussion. Between Ky and Bilal
the best player *right now* is Champagnie. He barely
got mentioned so far. I do understand that, trust me.
That said, if this were a meritocracy and we were
actually trying to maximize wins in the present tense,
Ky and Bilal would have to improve more than JC in
order to get on the floor. I wonder what Dawkins, Keefe would say under truth serum. I guess they would need to admit we're playing for 1-3 years out and not for this year.
FWIW, I do agree with this strategy.

A lot of what we call 'thought' is just mental activity
