You also didn't like us drafting Jayden.

It's just game 2 on the road on a short week.We made the championship game a few months ago in case you forgot. It is a little early to press the panic button.
Go back and get it correct. I never said I didn't like drafting Jaiden. I was on the record saying we should have traded back because at the time I believed he would still be there and we could maximize assets. The QB tax was higher than I anticipated. But it was never a slight at Jaiden.

That aside.

You can't say latimore hasn't looked awful
You can't say Terry hasn't looked bad
And
You can't say this team isn't too old.

Actually what you said is that you would wait another year to draft a quarterback which would have been even dumber considering how weak that quarterback class was.

I didnt hear anyone complaining about lattimore against the Giants and Nabors. You and CCJ were mute. Then he has a bad game on the shortest of short weeks and you want to pretend that somehow validates your opinion? Are you really that desperate to say "hey everyone look at me i was right!". It's one game get a grip.

Everyone knows the team is old. It isn't that easy to get good young players outside of the draft. Now is the time to bring in vets to plug the holes while Jayden is on a rookie deal. that isn't hard to grasp.

He was crap in the playoffs when it mattered most.

I didn't post after the Giants game because they won, and I didn't see the game.

What I predict is that many Marshon Lattimore pass interference penalties are forthcoming. The dude is the toast master.

We won two playoff games with him when he was still recovering from his injury.

If lattimore is washed it will show up on Sundays, not just on a Thursday.

Are you and Gambitx really that concerned about the mid round picks we gave up? If so why aren't you making a big deal about the lack of contribution from Sinnott and Luke? Seems like your outrage is pretty selective.

I'm not alone in thinking Marshon is washed.

Tursday night against the Green Bay Packers was the latest indictment. Jordan Love and the offense didn’t just test Lattimore; they attacked him as if he were the obvious weak spot. And why wouldn’t they?

Every route seemed to invite a grab, every contested ball ended with Lattimore’s hands on a jersey, and every flag drove Washington deeper into frustration.

It’s one thing to lose a battle against an elite receiver. It’s another to be so consistently sloppy and desperate that the referees practically know they’re throwing a flag your way before the snap.

That’s where Lattimore is right now. He’s not dictating terms as a CB1 — he’s clinging, reaching, hoping. It's not what the Commanders mortgaged part of their future for. Here’s the reality check: How much longer can the Commanders justify trotting Lattimore out there as their top corner?

The answer is on tape right now — it can’t be much longer. A team that prides itself on building toughness and setting a new culture under new leadership can’t continue to let a supposed cornerstone piece undermine the very identity it’s trying to craft.

If Amos and Sainristil are playing better, then play them. If Lattimore can only survive in certain packages or against specific matchups, then reduce his role. At some point, the nameplate on the back of the jersey can’t matter more than the results on the field.

Washington traded for the name on the back of his jersey. Lattimore was already declining due to nagging injuries when the Saints pawned him off. Bad deal Commanders.

And they are basing that on what exactly? Did they watch his game tape the last few years in New Orleans? Did they give him a physical? The team did both.

They are basing it on a Thursday game where we had only two days to prepare. Not impressed.

You didn't even watch our opener against the Giants. I know you didn't watch lattimore at all in NO. You didn't watch any game tape. You didn't give him a physical. You just flipped a coin, made a guess, and pretended you know what you are talking about.

If Lattimore is washed it will show up the rest of the season. One Thursday game by itself doesn't mean squat.

I read up on him and posted all his injuries when he was acquired. Older and injured made the deal untenable.

You are right. I have watched very little.

Nabers has 5 catches for 86 yards against the cowboys and the first half isn't over
That's better than he did the entire game against us.

I was listening to bmitch and Finlay and they were saying a lot of guys were complaining about traction and changed their shoes at halftime. Could that have been part of the problem? Maybe.

Wilson hit Nabers with a deep ball that was outstanding.

As I type, Wilson has his career best, at 457 yards! Giants just got possession. He legit could reach 500 yards.

I thought we should have cut Luke and sinnot but they are in their second year you need to give them some development time. But I was hoping they cut them both we had some interesting undrafted rookies that I would have given the spots too.
Yankoff made the main and might have a better future than Ben
And I would have given that main spot to ja'corey or Jacoby over Luke.
But I didn't get on a soap box about it because they are in their second years.

He wasn't perfect for sure but I believe he outperformed the media's expectation with 450 yards and 3 TDs. Maybe Washington's defense is competent (or maybe the Giants were just rusty last week).
