nate, you're starting to see what I've been saying about Daniels. I'd also rate him a C.

Most generally agree on the rankings of other players.

Butler, Haywood, and Jamison all get As from me. Can't say anything about them that hasn't been said.

Blatche, Stevenson, and Mason rate Bs.

Blatche's game is coming along quite nicely. Give that kid a call here and there and he'll be a monster in this league.

Stevenson peaked against Boston, but he played better than I've seen any Wizard SG play in recent memory, so he keeps his grade.

Roger is better at SG than DeShawn, IMHO. Roger could start with Gil and the Wizards wouldn't miss a beat. I like the way he plays at both ends. He knows his limitations and doesn't force things, yet he also doesn't back down. Not as talented as Caron, but plays like him. Old school player--I agree with EJ on Roger.

McGuire pulled an F up to a C- on two strong games. Before the season I thought he'd be the best rookie on this team and seemed like I was really wrong on that. I think with Caron down a while McGuire's going to bust out in a big way real soon.

Young I'd also rate a C or C-. I don't care how well he scores he's a black hole with the ball. Can't deny his talent but the guy still grates on me.

Songaila, I'll give a solid D. Below average player who I think is hurt. His game against the Clippers was encouraging.

Coaching staff I'll rate a C. Eddie pissed away a few games and coached his ass off in others. He's had a ton of injuries to deal with. I like the way he mentors young players, EXCEPT for the shot jacking he seems to encourage from Nick Young. I HATE his reluctance to play Haywood more. If Eddie weren't a good guy I'd rate him lower. That said, if not for Caron's injury the record would be a lot better than it is.

I think Eddie's probably better than I give him credit for but I'm just PISSED about the times Haywood's not been in games when he should have been.
