No doubt. A few years down the line, and I'm still feeling that trade was the greatest (hell probably the only) swindle the Boulez have made in my lifetime. After all the bird brained, moronic deals of the Unseld years, after all the horrendous deals, and draftees, to finally make another team look stupid (from day one, for anyone with a brain, that trade was an obvious example of highway roberry) was and is just sweet. As bad as things are, imagine if we hadn't made that deal. Praise God we did, and then our GM was smart enough to lock him up. Not sold on the coach either, definitely not sold on the cheapskate owner, but glad we've got Caron, a true foundation block if there ever was one.

Either play better or call in sick-Charles Barkley
We need a healthy AD.

I can't help myself, I'm going to touch the 3rd rail.

While there is lots to blame for Kwame and I am completely happy to have CB instead of him. Kwame quit on this coach. Haywood had lots of problems with this coach.

See a pattern?

Now I wonder if GA and CB trusts him.

I would love it if AD and DS did call in sick. I hope these guys are talking to EG and EG is talking to Abe.

EJ has to go.

And by healthy I don't mean one of Gil, AD, or Caron. Atleast 2/3 have to be fully healthy before any of them check into a game.

Exactly. We have had this kind of opportunity several times to some degree or another. At some point you invest in where you need to be instead of just trying to win the next game by wearing out your already injured starters. Let everyone that needs to heal , heal. Your losing anyway. You may as well gain something for it.

Not only are GA and CB out but DS and AD are injured and playing.

We have about 2-3 weeks before GA comes back and hopefully CB sits out 2 more weeks so he can return 100%. We need to sit DS and AD a lot more over the next 2 weeks also.

Let AB, BH and NY be your stars. Feed the post and drive. As I said, NY isn't so different then GA was when he got here but we lived through that. Only we should learn from that. NY needs molded better so he is playing a smarter game. We don't need another Hibachi, we need a smart well rounded scorer.

I would also get a good dose of DMAC in there as the glue rebounder energy guy. You want better D, how about playing players who don't have injured wheels. You have 2 big and an energy shot blocker in DMAC, AB, and BH.

I would tell AJ to take a chill pill and play the vet babysitter. Tell him to let the young guns try to lead while he fills in with more select Js, rebounds, etc. Stop forcing so many shots.

The offense should be run through NY, AB and BH then kick it out to Mason and AJ for open 3's. Add DS to this list in limited mins.

I would at least be excited to watch them play if they did this. I would also gain a lot of respect for EJ. And honestly, if done with the right rotations, this a decent team that would win some games.

For now, we need to turn this upside down. Also, time to get Wilks back for 10 days.

Mason, NY, AJ, AB, BH Start AJ but pull him quickly because he will shoot to much. If he doesn't, then leave him in.

Mason, NY, DMAC, AB, BH
Wilks, NY, AJ, AB, BH
Wilks, Mason, NY, AB, BH

Fill in the rest with OP, Songaila, and

DS and AD should be limited to 10-20 mins a game until healthy

I'd take the losses which we seem to be getting anyway if we got to watch our youngs grow and our vets heal. And you may well get more wins then you expected.

Throw out the EJ offense and just go simple pick and roll and iso by clearing a side and feeding the post.

We can still put some talent on the court with our healthy players.

You aren't going to beat the best teams one way or another but we can beat the bad and average teams.

Very well put. I mean honestly if we are going to suck we might as well see what we have in the process. Especially with our team already being banged up. Why not wait two weeks and put a completley healthy lineup out there? Honestly guys we are in the East. It isn't that hard to make up ground because well our Confrence sucks.

We let everyone get healthy and make the push when it matters. Then playoffs we have just enough time to get in rhythm and who knows maybe we make some noise.

However, if we keep going as we are our team will be burned out come playoff time and we'll have no shot.

The Wizards played well in this game. I definitely see why you guys are mad. The refs gave this game to the Cavs. The golden boy gets too many calls that go his way.

This game was lost in the first half. We needed to be pounding the ball down low every possession. Had we gotten Z in foul trouble early, the Cavs would have had no chance.

Body blows are crucial in the NBA.

Had we fouled out Z, he wouldn't have been in in the end to contest DSteve's shot.

BUT

Because EJ is our coach, we didn't do that. Any even if we lucked into getting AB and Haywood more touches in the post ( and Songaila for this one game he was hot in the post) all you would get is what EJ gave you, he would go small if Z wasn't in ( which he did going with Songaila at center.

We can hope all we want for these things that make perfect sense but we aren't going to get them because.

The team should suck right now. We're missing two all-stars. .

was anyone else annoyed that Barry and the other commentator kept harping on Clevelands depleted roster while they fail to acknowledge that we were without our two best players.

Give me a friggin break...the cavs two best players are lebron and bigZ and if im not mistaken they were playing.

That was a lebron lovefest all night.

We have about the worst talent in the league without Butler and Arenas. Our bench is HORRIBLE..slightly better than last year but still HORRIBLE.

How does EG not make some kind of move...dont know if hes handcuffed by abe or what but common we suck right now and you let the trade deadling pass.

I'm glad they're taking a conservative approach and resting Caron, too.

(PS In one of my greatest trade misjudgements, I thought Kwame being bigger and younger and a defender made him a better prospect than Caron. I was brainless that day. What a trade that turned out to be. On that alone I trust EG.)
