Gil and phil hubbard after gil fouled out?

Post#1 » by BruceO » Sun Apr 20, 2008 10:16 am

I'm kinda curious what phil hubbards role is. I was very intrigued by what happened when gil fouled out. Not sure if any of you saw this but when he went to the bench he was talking angrily with hubbard. HIs body language was very aggresive as he stood over hubbard. HUbbard looked calm or stupid, but Gil kept pointing at the floor with a very forceful gesture. while hubbard motioned towards the floor as well as though explaining something. Hubbards hand gesture was less forceful

yeaaaa i saw that, i have a feeling he was just upset with how the game was run overall, and was venting his anger, if phil was staying calm it couldnt have been anything too serious
With a Gil, there's a way

I saw it too and didn't think much of it. Just a coach and very verbal player debating what had just taken place on the court. Things like that happen in the heat of the moment. I wouldn't make much of it.

From my observations, GA spends a lot of time chatting with Hubbard when he's injured and sitting on the bench in street clothes. So I actually think they're pretty close. In fact, wasn't Hubbard an asst. coach at GS when Arenas was there?

I'd think he might be angry at the officiating, but just his body language as he was standing over phil made it look like his aggresion was directed at phil, and he was almost demanding an explaination. Times like now I wish someone here read lips

Today is your lucky day because I took a correspondence course that I found out about through an ad on a book of matches. The conversation was as follows:

Gil: I can't believe the cheap ass wax they use on this damn floor! We've got better at The Phone Booth.

Phil: Yeah, Abe's cheap but not that cheap

Gil: And another thing. Did you happen to see the chest on the woman sitting in 323-A-18? Damn...

Phil: That's my sister Gil, please stop talking like that

Gil: But Phil, that girl is HAWT. Why can't I hook up with her?

Phil: That's my sister Gil

Gil: Damnit! Damit to Hell!!!!
