I agree. I do the same to the long since gone, SD.

Dame, I just said that the other day in another thread.

SD20 ain't gone nowhere. SD is like herpes, the gift that keeps on giving.

He's right here posting as hands. He's dropped the "I'm the 34 year old Dentist who looks 20 with massive thighs and love in his heart and a glint in his eye" persona (or whatever the hell it was on any particular day) for Hands11, basketball god.

Doclinkin, I was curious about your mention of Mutombo in your Blatche-and-fouling mention, so I did a little digging.

Mutombo in his first 3 years averaged 3.6, 3.4, and 3.3 PF per 36.

Blatche has averaged 7.0, 5.0, 5.5 per 36.

I hope it declines more, but to compare the two isn't really that close (as much as I'd like it to be.)

Blatche would have been a sophomore in college, considering the injury year. The Big East Mutombo I recall was pretty awkward and foul-prone. Dray seems equivalent to my memory of big Deke in G-town early on, but I'm willing to be wrong at that.

I want to see Darius's fouls per 36. I get the impression he fouls more than Blatche, the dude's only defense is to foul you. Although, I will admit, Darius has been better as of late.

There aren't many centers left in the NBA. Big Z for the Cavs is one of the last of a dying breed. The biggest question I have about Blatche is can he rebound.

I've been dissappointed with Andray during the playoffs, I thought he'd be more of a factor. He hasn't provided much defense or support along the front line in terms of rebounding or counteracting the cav's deep front line.

Better question is. Can Blatche play like a man? There is one thing about being a young player, the other is being a total wuss on the court. Come on dude, man up out there.

His ass play is hurting the Wiz big time. We have no size out there.

Been down on him all season. He's show tremendous flashes here and there but he has yet to string together more than two consistent efforts in a row.

On top of playing like a complete moron most of the time, he's in terrible shape. He's either lazy, or he just doesn't care enough to become a solid contributor.

We got him on the cheap so we can be patient with his development, but at some point he'll have to demonstrate that he can be the man when Jamison is done 3-4 years from now.
