I absolutely Love Caron Butler

He should be the leader of this team, this is his team! He is a beast, all heart, and no FEAR!

With that said, Arenas is an elite player and this team IS NOT better without him. It doesnt have to be one or the other, they can definitely coexist. If they were both healthy this year, I believe we would have see it......im not sure why everyone has to pick and choose one over the other all the time, its pretty ridiculous. Enjoy what they each bring to the table and stop putting one of them down to raise the other one up.

HE DIDN'T FALL? INCONCEIVABLE.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Caron is a very good player who could be a key component of a championship team. But he is not an elite player and Arenas has too many flaws to make him an elite player like Lebron.

Caron's most memorable moments yesterday were two elbows to Lebron's face. One looked quite intentional.

He's injury-prone.

After a great game 5 he was doubled and played a terrible game 6.

I love the way he played up til he got hurt in January. That guy's a stud. My criticism of him is that he can't stay healthy. Hell of a player and a stand up guy. But I wonder about his durability.

Injured Caron got outplayed by Wally Szcezerbiak on numerous occasions. I don't feel like praising him today. Quite frankly, he stunk yesterday.

Same here, Donk. You couldn't really ask for a better person to have on your team as a 2nd option. Caron is a great player and a great guy. And yes, he and Antawn are the "leaders" of this team.

But I really hope last game made those who want to think Butler is both our leader and best player think otherwise. For as good as Caron is, he isn't built to be a 1st option scorer. There are very select players in the league capable of being that, and guess what....we have one of them (Agent Zero). It's no slight to Caron. Why would it be? He's great, but he provides a different role to this team. Nothing wrong with that.

That's absolutely, totally, and in all other ways, inconceivable.

millertime:

Just finished reading Wilbon's WP article about the Wiz-Cavs series and, despite my personal feelings about his lack of journalistic scruples, thought he was dead on about the Wiz lacking a true front line take over the game player that Cleveland has in LeTravel.

CB3 and AJ are good 2nd or even 3rd options. CB was essentially shut out until the game was deep into the 4th Q and the game was out of hand. AJ puts up nice numbers overall but jacks up too many bad shots and is a defensive liability.

Agent Zero is a great offensive player (top 3-5 in this here league) but has no desire or ability (you decide which) to play on the defensive end of the floor.

I say we need to pony up and ship out two of the three (I will let the masses decide which two) to get an elite level player.
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

I'd love him even more if I saw him 82 times a year.

I love the guy too... but with all the injuries to this team, we may need to trade 1 or 2 of the Big 3 for some more durable guys...

I mean, we already got beaten injured this last 2 years (by the same team :nonono: ), so we can't risk another 2 limping in the post season again...

We gotta make a change...
