Re: Arenas sure is taking along time deciding where to go...
According to today's Washington Post, the issue isn't that he doesn't know if he wants to play for the Wizards or not. The issue is that he's contemplating agreeing to less than the max to give the team more flexibility under the luxury tax. Apparently the team offered him the max as a show of good faith but then asked him if he would make good on his word to let Jamison get what he wanted and then he would "take a paycut". Gil is mulling over how much less than the max he's willing to take.
Now is really where having an agent would help since he would be more familiar with ways the deal can be structured to get Gil as much as possible while still helping the team. Gil's probably taking a while because he's reading Larry Coon's FAQs to see what his options are. LOL

Yeah ... this one-liner post deserved it's own thread.

Supposedly he's waiting until next tuesday when the salary cap numbers for next season are announced.
Then he will make a decision on what to sign for that will give the Wiz flexibility to acquire other players.
President Trump told two senior Russian officials in a 2017 Oval Office meeting that he was unconcerned about Moscow’s interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election because the United States did the same in other countries
