Did anyone here go to this event? How did Gil look out there?

I went yesterday. Gil was not playing. Hoops for Homeless is basically a "hoop it up" type tournament inside the Verizon Center. Gil and Magic were there and spoke to the crowd but no celebrities were actually playing ball, at least when I was there.

Freddie Mac is hardly in the financial position to be running charity functions. If anything, the homeless should get together and throw a charity function for Freddie Mac.

Yeah, no-kidding, I don't think we'll be seeing Freddie Mac as a sponsor for this event next year.
