It seems like the Capitals need to do something stupid to screw a completely perfect situation up. Huet would have taken this team far into the playoffs.

Varlamov better be legit because both Johnie and Theodore are terrible.

I'm sure the Caps will be fine. Perhaps it was only some opening day jitters. Anyway, Huet gave up 4 goals last night, so he wasn't that great either.

Only 4 of the goals were on Jose, but yeah was not a good start to either the 1st or the 2nd games of the year, but we pulled this one out tonight.

Dude is the epitome of inconsistency. With him in net, we are guaranteed to lose games we shouldn't.

Glad its only a 2 year deal. He's pretty much just keeping the seat warm for that Russian goalie who is suppose to be a beast.

Varlamov is ready to play. He is legit and gives us as good as a chance to win as Theodore in net.

I'm happy he had that stretch of good play last year to keep us competitive through our injuries, but I'm really happy we didn't re-sign him.

Sweet come back last night to beat the Penwhines and Cindy Crybaby.

But Jose let in two more softies. WTF was he doing on that first goal... ughhh this guy makes me nervous everytime the other team shoots.

Our offense is ballin this year though. Semin and Flash = having breakout seasons. Semin will score 50+ goals this year.

Theo is playing a 100x better than the start of the season. The five goals last night were all on the terrible defense led by terrible Mike Green. Might as well put this guy on forward because he does absolutely 0 on the defensive end and is only concerned with rushing the puck in the offensive zone and taking slap shots from the point.
