I'd rather have Rose than Griffin because Rose is a once in a generation PG prospect. He's an insane talent. However, that doesn't preclude the fact that we need Blake!

I'd like to get a big "Thank you, almighty Miller" from JWiz. Had it not been for my editing of his premature "Eddie Jordan is fired" thread title, none of this would have happened.

What are you talking about? YOU delayed the process. He would have been fired yesterday had it not been for your tampering.

no thanks...

Even blake griffin is said to have horrible defensive abilities, another non shot blocker at the powerforward position.

Hey, Karl Malone was a non shot-blocking PF. Actually, Griffin reminds me of Malone in many ways - including defense. Aside from being a great defensive rebounder, Malone's best defensive attributes were his quick hands - and size/strength. Griffin also has quick hands and can cause steals with them - and he's a tremendous defensive rebounder. He's a stud - a better prospect than Beasley and Rose and everyone else from last draft, imo. And he'd be an absolute perfect fit with McGee for the next decade.

Non defensive non shotblocking powerforwards with poor wingspans relative to their position don't win championships.
Build your team w/5 shooters using P. Pierce Form deeply bent hips and lower back arch at same time b4 rising into shot. Elbow never pointing to the ground! Good teams have an engine player that shoot volume (2000 full season) at 50 percent.Large Hands

Isn't this plagiarism without the quotation marks around it? This is verbatim from John Wooden himself!

are you suggesting that the Jazz didn't win a championship because Malone couldn't block shots?
