The AD impressions were hilarious. My wife gave AD the appropriate name of "Hardwood" because he was always on the ground. Thanks "Hardwood" and best wishes for you. Hope you win another 'Ship.

I'm glad to see AD go to a winning team and a good role for him. He's going to see a lot more wins than losses, and he'll have a chance to play deep into the playoffs.

I just hope AD's body recovers and allows him to play to the best of his ability for the Hornets, like he did in the 07 playoffs for the Wizards, when he averaged a double double. I liked what Daniels brought to the table when he was fully healthy.

AD deserves to be on a better team. He tries harder than anyone on the court. He's not the fastest or biggest guy on the court, but he'll give it his all no matter what.

He was usually one of the smartest players on the court every minute of the game. I'll miss him on this team, but we rebuilding a little bit it seems and the guys we got back are part of the young core that we have.

One thing that's good for AD right now is that he gets to play with Chris Paul. I'll bet he still has some stuff that Paul doesn't know that he can teach him.

Someday, i guarantee it, AD will be coaching in this league.

Yeah that was good, I scored some free last minute tix around 5:30 that day.

Big props to AD for his competitive spirit and willingness to play through injuries. Really glad he's headed to NOLA because they are a quality team I can actually tolerate.

I can barely think of another traded DC sports figure who I hoped found success elsewhere as much as I hope AD does.

He's not going to make many top 10 Bullets of all time lists as a player... but what a great competitor and positive personality. I'll always have fond memories of those big hands clapping in an exaggerated way after a call goes the Wiz way. Best of luck Basketball Jones.

Yeah, leave it to me to express an alternative opinion on AD's leaving...

I appreciate the way AD bitched and moaned about his minutes and the surly attitude he displayed on occasion.

I appreciate how AD never managed to give it his all during the full season, preferring to mail it for the first 40 game or so before ratcheting it up to play some decent ball in the 2nd half. Too bad he got paid for the whole year.

I appreciate how poor one-on-one defender he was, as he continually rolled out the red carpet for opposing players to drive the lane against him.

Yep, AD will indeed be missed.

LOL Dat, come on you must have at least one thing nice to say about AD.

Ill miss AD, he was a very good back-up his first few years here.(Remember back in the day when he had like 25 straight games off the bench with 10+ points) He was very good sometimes when we needed him to start, and loved how he used to drive to rim fearlessly and actually converted.

But as everything it had to come to an end, his injuries, lack of outside shot, and like Dat mentioned his crappy man defense and coasting killed us at times.

Hope AD backups Paul to the best of his abilities.

AD is smart, tough, and (it seems to me) a nice guy. I wish him well in New Orleans.

When it came to "leadership" the Wizards Big Three was Butler, Jamison and Daniels. I'm sure the young guys on the team will miss him most.

Yup, AD is a sure bet to be coaching in the NBA someday.

I'm kinda with Dat here. He's a class act, but I won't miss him. This should have been his walk year, instead he has another year left.

Amen. Rooting for AD will give me a reason to watch the playoffs this season.
