How does Mcgee grab the same amount of boards as Blatche in 18 less minutes of floor time? I mean c'mon man...we need more rebounds out of that center spot.

I pray to god that McGuire stays in the starting line up when this team is finally healthy. Please do not put DeBrick at SG when Gil comes back.
Arenas, Butler, McGuire, AJ and Wood is how we need to roll. The only thing that sucks is that we don't have a true passing PG on our team anymore once Gil returns. Jeez, can you imagine Young and James out there together? Bad shots galore.

chris paul did not shoot 40 percent for teh game...he shot 51 percent. he went
4-10 from the field==this means he 8/20 or 8 pts out 20 possible ****plus..(this what u forgot and plz don't forget it next time)
plus 7/9 from free throw line
means he made 15 out 29 possible points. Owning a calculator would tell you he shot .51 percent.
mike james shot 6/12 plus 4/4 from free throw lines.
12/24 plus 4/4 from line means 16/28 = 16/28 equals 58 percent.
only one point difference in offensive production with james being 7 percentage points more efficient.
only difference is Paul gave put his players in an offensive advantage from a pass 9 times more than james.
The wiz lost because Jamison let West shoot way above is field goal average..and he is below average defender and Jamison did increase not his field goal percentage above his season average to match the extra field percentage points that West exceeded his season's average. Jamison did increases his field goal percentage against the blazer to make up for the extra points he gave up on defense. Jamison gave the opposing team an offensive burst in each game because he a poor man to man defender and an offensive specialist. We expect our offensive specialist to be consistent on offense since we know they are going to give us consistent bad man to man defense each game. Jamison has been extremely inconsistent even as an offensive specialist when going against good teams. A balanced player could get away with being an inconsistent offensive specilist because they could still be above average man to man defenders. This is the type of thinking we need if to make this board productive like it was during the golden era.
since some of yal think west shot 53 percent..lets clear it up now. 8/15 means multiply by two==16/30 plus 4/5 equals 20/35. 20 divided by 35 equals 57 percent.
What's david west season average? 532/1006. His season average is .53 so jamison didn't even hold west to his average..but let him exceed his average..which means jamison's defense this game was below average. Jamison is a below average defender.
Jamison 600/1176= season average is .53 percent. This game jamison shot 10/25 or 20/50 plus 2/4fts =22/54= or .40 so not only did jamison shoot way below his average of .53 against a good team...but he also let west shoot 57 percent..4 percent above his average. This shows Jamison is not a consistent offensive specialist and also a below average man to man defender. Hopefully you guys can build hte discussions from these blocks.
Build your team w/5 shooters using P. Pierce Form deeply bent hips and lower back arch at same time b4 rising into shot. Elbow never pointing to the ground! Good teams have an engine player that shoot volume (2000 full season) at 50 percent.Large Hands

You know who's suprisingly slow - West. If the officials didn't let him get away with offensive fouls, he'd be a very ordinary player.
I had the same impression re West. He got away with a lot. I'm not sure he'd only
be "ordinary" if that were not the case but I digress.
I thought the game was poorly called. At one point it was obvious that NO only
had to stop AJ and no one else for us was going to score much or score effectively.
They were very physical with AJ at that point with almost no calls coming his way.
Yet West and Peja were getting whistles for pretty ticky-tack stuff. That said, AJ
wasn't hitting his FTs anyway and NO probably would've won with a well called game.
also Re poorly called, there were a bunch of travels that were ignored by both teams.
One play N1 received a pass up top and must have taken 3 steps or slid 3 feet
and it was ignored.

So now you're looking at the net difference between the two players and ignore the above/below averages method of rating players? Which method do you prefer? You should stick to one or the other or else people might view you to be a flip flopper, or worse someone who doesn't really know what they're talking about.
The wiz lost because Jamison let West shoot way above is field goal average..and he is below average defender and Jamison did increase not his field goal percentage above his season average to match the extra field percentage points that West exceeded his season's average.
So now it's back to averages. That's interesting because Jamison is allowed to be a bum because West shot 53% instead of his season average of 48% but paul shooting 40% instead of his season average of 50% doesn't take away from his studliness because he outplayed his man.
Now i'm not saying that jamison is a good defender or even a "true superstar". I'm just saying there simply isn't enough talent on this team to win especially at the 2-guard and Center spots (Nick Young continuing to suck and Blatche playing smaller than he's capable of). I think once our sham allstar SF Caron Butler comes back and DMac shifts to start at 2-guard, we'll be more competitive as a team and won't let players like Rasual Butler kill us.
note: this would have been a shellacking if Peja could connect from outside. and as always Rasual Butler makes us pay. BRB... I'm going to go run some numbers on him vs the wiz.
