I know Amare is the one-eyed man with worse knees than DaJuan Blair (in some folk's minds) and that there's no possible way to pay Amare and Jamison, or to offer more than what GS has reportedly offered. With all that said, recognizing that it probably wouldn't interest Phoenix, as a Wizards fan would you be willing to trade Caron, Mike James, and DeBrick (throw in a top 3 protected 2011 first for good measure) for Amare? It would likely push the Wizards salary to at least 80-82 million in 2010 (Amare 17.7 yeah I know he wants 20, Miller 6.5, Haywood 8.5, Foye 5, McGuire 1.5, three near minimum guys at the end of the bench 2.7). Miller or McGuire (or a cheap vet) would need to start at the 3 and that would not be ideal. Jamison would be the 6th man swing forward and that would not be ideal at his salary. Still, it would be a fun team to watch, albeit an expensive team, but it's not my money.

Absolutely. As Nate has said on many occasions, our current Big-3 isn't going to win an NBA championship, so the objective has to be to establish a Big-3 that actually can. Get Amare to this team and pair his with Arenas.

I'm very hesistant to pull the trigger on an Amare deal.

Acccording to the Suns board, Amare will need additional surgery on his knees in the near future.

He's a very good player but I think I'll pass.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.
