Washington should move to the Atlantic Division

Post#1 » by Lucrazi28 » Sat Dec 26, 2009 11:38 pm

Heres how it would happen. Washington and New Orleans can agree to move divisions.
New Orleans would be moved to the eastern conference and in the Southeast division
Washington can move to the Atlantic Division; well it makes since geographically.
Toronto Can Move to the Western Conference in the Northwest Division, while Okl City who used to be seattle can move to the southwest division with houston, dallas.etc.
It would be something fresh for the NBA, The buisness, and the fans. :)

Im not to thrilled about washington in the southeast division anyway.....

On a different note, I think NO and Utah should switch team names.

Utah is the beehive state - they should get the name Hornets.
NO is, well, obviously known for jazz, so...

Besides, how many jazz clubs are in Utah?

How is that really fresh for the fans? Divisons dont really matter much in basketball since you play 82 games and play everyone in the East & West pretty much the same amount of times

mo, I'm so old that I remember when they were the New Orleans Jazz. :(

Pistol Pete Maravich played for that Jazz team. So did former Terp Mo Howard (he not of the Three Stooges, but rather was John Lucas' backcourt mate). IIRC the team was sold and moved west to Utah.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

CCJ, I am right there with you. I remember the NO Jazz as well (moved to SLC in 1979).

That would be brutal for Toronto. Toronto is a long distance from the Midwest. There's only 4 cities in the league further from Denver.

Please don't move Toronto to the West. We fans are very happy with the Raptors being in 6th in the east with a 14-17 record :(

It might make more sense if Toronto moved to the Central Division, with either Chicago or Milwaukee moving to the West. But Toronto to the West ????- I don't think so.

came here cuz the next game of the grizzs are the wizards... IT is an interesting threat.

We came to memphis from Vancouver, It is as far as Seattle. We are in the thoughest division.... Texas teams and new orleans. It is so hard to face them 4 times, 20games in wich most of teams might lost most of games.

Im not looking to make it easier for us, but why dont stern makes another kind of reorganization?

Wouldn't that be making it a bit too easy for us? Besides. I think we're a better team than last year and we're going to become better. I don't want to talk about changing divisions, or, anything like that just yet.
To do list
==========
1. Fire Ernie Grunfield
2. Get a GM who doesn't screw the fans all the time
3. Beat the Cavaliers in the playoffs
4. Get the no.1 draft pick
5. Get John Wall

Yeah, that's it...a new division. That's the answer! Can we get moved to the Lower Middle Division? If we string together a few wins, we might even take that division.

The Wizards might be able to take the CAA or the Big South conferences. The ACC might be too tough :)
