Trade question???

Post#1 » by Noonskadoodle » Fri Jan 8, 2010 8:44 pm

Hey I am a Magic fan and there has been speculation that Otis may be looking into making a move for Caron Butler (whom he wanted last year), I was just wondering what we would have to give up to get him from you guys?

Thanks

Maybe Gortat, Bass, and Pietrus for Butler and Haywood???

Gortat is a 7 footer with some upside. He is very good at rebounding and plays great defense but needs to work on his post game.

Pietrus is a spark whether he is coming off the bench or starting he does not care. He is a good 3 point shooter and a very good on ball defender.

Bass is a very nice player who is built like a tank and is fearless. He has a very solid offensive game and can rebound with the best of them. His only knock is his height, but he makes up for it with his explosiveness.

At the Wizards forum viewforum.php?f=35 there's a trade thread stickied at or near the top of the topics list. Or you can go directly to that thread:
viewtopic.php?f=35&t=965659&start=1050

There, you will find a room full of grizzled veterans always ready to discuss trades, and into there this trade suggestions may soon be merged, after which this thread will likely be locked for all eternity.

All these answers and more can be found in the trade thread. Please forgive our fastidiousness on this matter but we have found over the years that keeping trade posts like these in a dedicated thread improves the quality of discussion and reduces the amount of clutter.
