The Manny Phresh Appreciation Thread

Post#1 » by JWizmentality » Fri Jul 9, 2010 5:04 am

When I have the time tomorrow, I'll post some of his best hits. Manny was supposed to be with us tonight, but unfortunately he was last seen grasping desperately to the bumper of a Miami bound greyhound bus.

and LeBron is a crybaby? hahahahaha Wizards fans and players are much bigger crybabies. The NBA is rigged... I HATE LEBRON... WE HATE CLEVELAND hahahahahahahahahahaha man it must suck to cheer on a losing franchise...

Oh yeah news flash: If you banking on LeBron leaving... You might wanna get your Kleenex ready

Manny Phresh wrote:The media created the buzz ever since his high school days... Yes he feeds into the media and provokes them but I dont see a reason to chastize it. That pro-hop that he does looks weird and is hard to call. He did travel on that last play and I won't sit up there and defend him because he did travel. But thats his opinion, everybody has their opinion wether its right or not. But I wouldn't expect you guys to respect that. He never cried about anything. He was only saying that under the context that the Wizards thought they were manhandling but it never appeared that way. Take MJ's number, Give it back? Ummmm... I never knew certain numbers belonged to certain players. If thats the case no present players could wear many of the lower numbers. He never said he was Jordan, he never compared himself to Jordan. He in fact said that he is trying to create his own legacy. The only reason he wears 23 is in tribute MJ. MJ is the greatest... Who would you rather be a better bar setter. I think he's entitled to wear whatever number he wants. Copycat? Didn't Eistein say everything would repeat itself? Again, I see no real reason why you hate the man

P.S. - I ain't going nowhere

You won one championship like 30 years ago. You act like any of you can recall the series and reflect on it. You can do whatever you want buddy but I guarantee you he won't leave.

Like i said before if you banking on LeBron leaving get the Kleenex ready.

Why would he make 2 million dollar house he was set on going to New York... If he was set on going to New York he would've waited until then to build a new house. AgentOvechkin stick to watching hockey kid cause i see you know nothing about basketball. Why won't you just hope your team gets good enough to beat LeBron instead of waiting two years from now hoping that LeBron leaves and then you can finally find something valid to say about Cleveland. I see the first choice having a better shot of happening.

Manny Phresh wrote:and you know what... Not only am I glad he did it... He needs to do it more... That shows an attitude that he doesn't like to lose. I know how he felt and honestly I would have done the same thing. To have the whole weight of Cleveland on his shoulders, to be named MVP, to have the league's best record, he did everything he could to keep his team in it and when he lost he was emotionally moved. He preached all year about how all of these accolades meant nothing if they didn't win a championship and to do all he could but not fulfill his statements was tough for him to experience. As people said Cavs' fans don't really care. Most of us want a championship and could care less who shakes hands and who addresses the media. Stop trying to kick the man while he's down I know alot of you dislike LeBron. Honestly why is this still being talked about?

The best of Ernie

tyguy wrote:They have a legit shot every year, the wizards not so much. Maybe if you guys could show some humility. I'ts just silly you have to resort to this bush league garbage. So you dont like the guy who takes out your team every year, but he happens to be arguably the leagues best player and you guys make yourselves look dumb doing this stuff.

tyguy wrote:Because it is a discussion forum and I think its ridiculous you people are getting some sort of vindication of this. It just doesnt look good on your part with your constant bashing of James when the cavaliers organization and fans dont throw any nonsense your way. They simply win and move on but you guys seem to have this major inferiority complex and take it way too personal.

Good stuff, their board will die a fast death too. The organization has already dropped about $250 million. I like some of the guys over on the CLE board, but for the most part this is deserving.

THIS is why I feel no sadness for Cav's fans.

They were not with the team before LeBron and will not be with the team Post-LeBron. They never deserved him to begin with. F Cleveland.

I don't; I feel somewhat bad. Even Manny Phresh was at least hping that the Wizards would get healthy again. And not all their posters are representative by the views of one.

Yes but you fail to acknowledge that the majority of "Cavs" fans will simply move on to the next bandwagon now. They don't feel any pain, just anger. Which is why you don't see them crying, you see them burning jerseys.

I feel bad for all Cleveland fans.

Manny was a fun guy. I think he really was just trying to stand up for his city and he really believed James would not leave.

I am not taking joy for my post above. Rather than hurt Manny's feelings my real point is that Lebron showed his true colors. I bet there isn't another Lebron James day, even in Akron!
