I guess that's why you want as many picks as possible, so you can jettison the duds more easily.

The Hawks won only 13 games during the 04/05 season. It would have been only 10 if it wasn't for Tyronn Lue doing a very impressive Jordan imitation for 3 games where he scored 30 ppg while shooting insane percentages from everywhere.

Unfortunately the Hawks blew so many of their lottery picks that it killed their chances to be contenders. Childress at 6 over Deng and Iggy. Marvin at 2 over Paul and Deron. Shelden at 5 over anyone with a pulse.

If you are going to blow up your roster and rebuild through the draft you had better make your draft picks count.

This why some would rather Pritchard be on the clock on draft night, but there is zero indication that Flip or Ernie are going anywhere anytime soon.

I'll tell you one thing Ted, I'll watch on TV, but I ain't paying for this product.

To be fair EG has a pretty good record in the draft. You could argue that he doesn't value basketball IQ enough but he seems to be a good judge of talent.

I think i will wait awhile before paying too.
