I'd rather have Young than Crawford though. Its a shame their contract situations arent reversed. I hope we can keep Young for the right price and dont have to overpay. Young with Crawford off the bench just about sews our back court up. Thats 2 out of 5 positions solved, at least... And if McGee keeps this effort up and playing a bit smarter on D instead of jumping 5 feet in the air every time someone brings the ball above chest level, then I dare say we may have 3 out of 5 positions sewn up.

Good to see Seraphin playing well with the mins hes getting, too. Id like to see him start over Yi. I understand why Yi has to start, because of his range, but Seraphin deserves a shot while Booker is out.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

I sort of did just to hear Buckhantz exclaim shock or something especially when he gave his dagger comment.

The John Wall breakdown

1st half- 24 points
2nd half - 0 points
OT - 4 points (all on free throws from intentional fouls)

Oh yeah and he played 50 minutes.

Trap-game for Utah, oh-well, good for the fellas to win 2 games on the road. The tank has been knocked off it's track temporarily.

A win like this can be good tank karma.

interesting and encouraging thing about that is it wasn't that long ago
that Jefferson, I think then still with MN, utterly destroyed McGee.

McGee is starting to get it. If I was a cynic, I'd say he was just tired
but he actually stayed down on a number of fakes/situations which
I think really helped him stay on the floor by limiting the parachute
fouls. I think a dimmer switch is slowly sliding towards a brighter
player.

I also liked those bunnies he missed. Those were good shots.

I'm not sure this isn't the new McGee, at least when he's not playing
against Dwight Howard.

MIA on Wed will be an interesting test for McGee.

He managed to have a stretch where he didn't pick up several
quick fouls in succession. Then he relapsed. But it looked pretty
good while it lasted.

He's clearly hungry to stay in the association. He really gets after it on D.

I'm actually expecting McGee to demolish that soft frontcourt they have... 8-)

Poor Utah, with Slone retired and DWill gone, they are a shadow of thier former franchise.
