I for one would like to post a final message of thanks to one Flip Saunders.
The man went through some bad bad times with this franchise. The Gil gun things was the turning point that changed everything.
That isn't what he signed up for. I thought the franchise did the right thing sticking with him and I think he did make a positive difference. He really tried to teach these young kids. Some of it took. Some of it didn't. Some of it will take later. That is how it is teaching young people.
But it was time for a change. Time for a clean slate. The team needed it and so did Flip. He did his time. It would have been hard for him to coach them to the next level considering all that had happened. It will be easier for another coach starting fresh with a different voice.
I didn't agree with all of this moves ( specially the last two games) but what fan ever does.

Agreed, I don't loathe Flip as much as Eddie. Flip is actually a pretty smart guy. This team is just too damn basketball stupid. We need someone who can dumb down the program.
