(mcgee had 1 defensive board. millsap had 6 offensive boards.)

mighty hard to win when you let the opp primary offensive threat
have the kind of field day Jefferson had. It was like he was
practicing against asst coaches.

didn't watch tonights game. but that is not good.

thought he would come out with a beast game after that rookie challenge snub.

He wasn't snubbed.

He was the 5th pick though. Which is pretty bad for someone who was the number 1 pick last year and the runner up for rookie of the year.

Speaking of coaching, sometimes all it takes to slow a guy like Jefferson is a coaching adjustment. I think Seraphin would have been a lot more effective defending Jefferson. I apologize for making the same point in two threads, but I think Seraphin with McGee is an option that should be tried out.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

For real, it's like Wall can do no good around here...

+1....That's the issue when folks judge a performance by box scores along. Wall had a very solid game. he executed well in the half court, shot well, changed speeds, and set up teammates for some gimmes that just weren't finished. The game was lost based on defense, and horrific shot selection. We were down 10 to start the 3rd and there was a stretch where McGee, Singleton, and Crawford took terrible shots in consecutive possessions...All the meanwhile Utah was cramming it down our throats at the basket and it was a suddenly almost a 30 pt game.
