If all he develops into is instant offense off the bench then its fine. He didn't cost much to acquire and doesn't make a ton of $. I think think he he can improve a little but just with slightly better shot selection....

I doubt that. But still, he brings more to the table than what Nick ever has. He's also 4 years younger. Nick is a one trick pony with a low IQ, poor instincts and no heart.

You are probably right but at least we can hope.

That is quite the problem. Wall (obviously) doesn't play well without the ball nor should he. You're essentially neutralizing one of our best offensive weapons so Crawford can play hero ball.

Agreed.

Wall was only 13-25 7-10 33 pts.

Crawford is holding him back.

If you're going to tell me today was the norm with a Wall/Crawford duo, then I don't know what to say.

Anybody notice that the bench players play better than the starters?

When the bench got there along with Wall! They took off!!!

Is this unusual?

We need to make Ryan Anderson a priority in FA.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Miller

There is no norm when Wall and Crawford have started a grand total of 3 games together this year and the first two were the first two of the season.

Lately, Wall has stepped it up and lately, Crawford is balling pretty damn well.

Besides, this is the best combo at PG and SG the team has so personally, I want to see it work. I am tired of watching games where the PG and SG are not on the same page.

I'm right there with ya' on wanting them to do well and it was a really nice surprise seeing them do well tonight. But I can't ignore the multitude of games where it didn't go so well. I think it's unfair to only go by starts rather than the minutes they were actually on the court together.

But I digress, we both want the same thing -- some chemistry and sound basketball.

That might have been Wall's best jump shooting game ever. Feels like a win even though it wasn't.

He was triple teamed each time he touched the ball. The Magic made 15 three pointers.

But there would've been no point in triple teaming if Booker hadn't been able to body him up and force him into the teeth of the defense. Good job by Booker.

It would be nice to see. People do tend toward hope and we as Wizards fans need at least something. :D

Unless they make a trade, all we have is watching players develop.

Crawford is only a second year player and he has shown signs of being productive at the 2. He can dribble, pass and shoot. Its better then watching Dribbling Nick kill the team game after game. With what this team has, Crawford is a better option at starting SG then Nick so I'm happy he is finally getting the start. At least you don't have to read me complaining about Nick starting over Crawford ever other post anymore.

We can also look forward to:

Wall - He quietly has found an outside shot over the last 5 games. And he was changing speed last game. He has even added a drive where he slows up at the end and extends for the finger roll. Wall had a bad start to the season but he is coming on now.

Booker has recently added a better outside shot and Randy has just started to use him at center with Singleton at PF. Booker defended Howard pretty well last night. A lot of defending at center is based on having the strength to push other centers out of the paint. Booker can do that. Should be interesting to see how much Randy uses him as a baby Ben.

At least I can view these players as starters who can gel together.

Problem with players like Nick and McGee is that you can not count of them to not do things they are not good at any given game. At least Crawford when he messes up is messing up doing things he can do.
