lol, I was gonna say there shouldn't even be an option. Most impressive part about Kevin tonight was to the rebounding. We knew he could consistently score but he is making all around improvements everywhere.

So good to see him put it together out there, such a soft touch on his hook shot.

I'd like to see him get a bit more aggressive around the basket. There's still a few occasions where he catches passes in the lane and opts to loft the ball up instead of gathering himself, squaring up and going up strong.

Also good to see him play a more controlled game on defense. Only picked up 2 fouls yet still managed to come up with 4 blocks.

Outstanding effort. Now if he turns some of that baby fat into some muscles he could be a real handful for anybody to handle.

Felt he looked the part on occasion, but he's really being a man right now. My 2nd favorite player on the team right now.

Also, Crawford deserved to have his name up there as option tonight. I love his game, he's just a nasty scorer with a wicked mid-range touch, and his ability to take it to the basket and finish through traffic is quite impressive.

He gets a lot of deserved criticism because of his inefficiency, but man, I think this kid could be really special if he improves his outside shooting.

Also, honorable mention for Singleton. His timely jumpers really kept the team together down the stretch. Was kind of upset when Washington let him go following the 2010 season, let's hope we don't make that mistake again.

Every team in the NBA should have roster spots for guys like him.

Glen Davis has averaged 21 points and 12 boards on 46% shooting since Howard went out. Seraphin held him to 12 and 10 on 38% shooting.

Only 1 turnover and only 2 fouls. Listening to his interview he doesn't have any language issues now which i think was a problem last year.

So glad McGee is gone.

Side Note: Crawford didnt force shots in the first half as KS had it rolling but he came on strong in the second half to help them get over the hump. Made a really nice passes as well. 4 assists 4 rebounds.

Wall: Last night he did great managing the game and he did well again tonight. He forced two shots late in the forth quarter when the game was close but overall he played really well. 5 players in double digits including himself. Some really nice D. He played well.

Had Mason hit a few more shots like he usually does, it wouldnt have even been this close.

And great games from James and Martin. Overall great team win but a huge game by Keveeen. What left hand. Most of his shots were with the left. He even shot a left handed baseline from like 12 feet.

Dwight Howard.

Obviously, Seraphin is the PotG. Good to see him take advantage of a lesser center like that. Sure, Dwight Howard wasn't in the lineup, but there's only one Dwight Howard anyway. Most teams don't have great centers and if Seraphin can play anything like that against those that don't, it's a good sign for him and for the team.

It will be interesting to see how Seraphin handles playing against a very tall and quick veteran center like Tyson Chandler on Friday.

Great second half from Crawford. Solid game from John Wall. Love what Martin and Singleton are giving the team off the bench. Seems like these guys play well and then the team convinces itself it has upgraded in the offseason and doesn't need them anymore. Only to learn the hard way that they haven't upgraded at all and now need them back. Let's just keep them this time. Martin can have Nick Young's spot on the team and Singleton can have Andray Blatche's spot. Singleton can himself "7-Day Sing" without it sounding like a cruel joke.

I loved how nimble Seraphin looked in the post despite the physical play Big Baby was giving him. That one play in the 3rd quarter where he was in the low block - did the quick fake to his right and spun left for a soft hook was a thing of beauty for anyone, let alone someone his size.

Those jumpers from the FT line looked pretty nice too.

I had been counting on this game as another real test of Seraphin's progress to go up against Howard again. I was encouraged by his ability to match up with Howard for that one game at the start of February where had 12pts 7 reb 2 blk on 6/7 shooting in 22min and was hoping to see him in more of a center-stage role this time around. Looks like we'll have to wait till next year for that.

I think the last two rigged POTGs were the correct choices. Wall's 12 assists to 1 TO v. the Bobcats and Seraphin's dominant performance against the Magic are good signs for our future.
