Underwhelming, yet still enjoyable Pan-Am Games just completed. Shout out to my friend Joshua who took part in the Judo competition....and got his arse kicked!!!

I kid I kid...still love ya my friend.

And I got to take the time to toot my own horn as Jamaica now owns EVERY 100m sprint title there is to own. The Olympic 100-metre title, the World 100 metre title, the World Junior title, and the World Youth title. Jamaica also owns the CAC title, the Commonwealth title and now the Pan Am title. ALL at the same time. That's epic swag. 8-)

Yohan Blake!!!!! I've been saying it for years. You need to watch this kid! Not really surprised though. Bolt was starting like crap since the semis. Good run from Powell who has been nursing an injury and made the team. He has a month to heal up. Well, the Jam squad sends a resounding response to team USA and Gatlin and Gay.

Needless to say, the night for me went to

Shelly!!!!!

I was actually expecting a bit more chatter out of you JWiz. I know you rep the "tiny island of Jamaica" pretty hard but isn't there any commentary on the American trials what with the tie in the women's 100, if the americans stand a chance to medal in the 100, the decathlon WR, etc?

I honestly haven't been watching much of it. Didn't know any of you guys cared. :D

About the runoff, what a joke. USATF needs better leadership. You mean there was no contingency in place for a tie, rare as it is. To even bring up a coin toss was insulting. I understand that Allyson's coach wanted them to run the 200m before the runoff, but now you're pushing it back to Monday. He just had to say the word? Who's running the show here?

Allyson Felix absolutely beasted the 200m. 21.69 aint nothing to sneeze at. But I fully expect my little pocket rocket Shelly Ann to crush her in London. She took down reigning 200m champion Veronica Campbell-Brown tonight.

......oh and Bolt lost to Yohan again in the 200m.
