I hope not; as I've noted a few times last year was a hard one to be a rookie -- no Summer work w/ the team and an abbreviated Training Camp. Mack didn't shine, it's true, but he wasn't awful either. He wasn't as bad as A.J. Price (certainly no worse).

I didn't think he was a great pick, ditto Singleton, but I'd like to see another year of both players -- in particular rather than let Mack go for no return. Now, if we need to do it in order to sign someone w/ an upside... fine. But not Brian Cook!

I'm sure Ferry was just following orders.

Whos orders ?

The owner's orders, of course. Look hands, I'm a senior VP for a large and very prestigious multinational consumer services marketing research manufacturing multinational conglomerate research division subsidiary multinational, and my job is very prestigious, thanks in part to my many degrees from top institwotions and long experniece in a field. No one should ever question my jugsment, and no one ever doos, but I have a boss, woos the owner, and he owns the company, and it's his, and he lives in a psychiatric institutions, and every once in a while they lit him out, and he runs down the halls half dressed in a strait jacket and helf naked, and he says "aayyrrggaigh!" and I pretty much have to do what he says, so I do. I don't like it, but that's the real world. Ferry is in the same situation.
