I love how the picture for the article is of that clear Mike Miller foul on a Singleton dunk that went unwhistled....

Not only did we beat the Heat, we beat the refs too.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

I just looked at the scoreboard.. Heat scored 3.4 less points than their average and gave up 5.1 more than their average.. That's a "sub par" game for them, no? Just sayin..

I dont want to piss on the Wiz though, they won and Im happy like everyone else! Just providing a little reasoning as to what happened, "other" than they finally turned some corner and will now be on a playoff run.. Hope that's what happens, just been a fan of DC sports for 40+ years and seen that movie before.

I think many of us around here would agree: The Wizards winning had more to do with them playing well, not the heat playing poorly.

For heaven's sake, *of course* the Heat were "sub-par." They lost. "Par" for them is to win. When they get beat, their numbers will always look sub-par. Any good team we beat this year will have had a "sub-par" night -- because they were beaten.

And that's all I was tryin to say.. We played above our average, them below and we won a ballgame.. The "how's and why's" really don't matter, imo, unless were going to start expecting that level of production from the Wiz on a consistent basis.. When they play like that more than once a blue moon, the stats they put up can become relevant to the conversation..

Knicks are pumping the Heat tonight, but is it because the Knicks are playing good or are the Heat playing "sub-par" again? I'm confused.

What came first, the chicken or the egg?

HEY! We are a double-celled organism, we've won 2 games ...

No Korver is good news. Hey, I did my part. I ordered out the same food I had for the last win over Miami.

POINTS PER GAME 90.4 30th OVERALL
ASSISTS PER GAME 20.5 24th OVERALL

POINTS ALLOWED 97.9 16th OVERALL

REBOUNDS PER GAME 43.2 10th OVERALL

Hey, they hare starting to starting to rise in the ranks for rebounds and pts allowed. Good sign. And they had real high assist game last game so maybe that is a start of more to come with the faster paced offense.
