Not any time soon unfortunately. December is fast becoming a lost month now. Enjoy your low heating bills and hope for better chances of snow in January and February.

Mike Lee attacked Vesely in a way that IMO did nothing good for the player and it was not harsh on EG.

CCJ, Ji is referring to the Michael Lee piece focused on Ernie. I think the headline was "Grunfeld Looking at the Whole Picture".

I'm not comfortable with anyone giving me shotty weather reports except for Ji.

That's like arguing that Michael Westbrook over Warren Sapp, something only the Redskins brass wanted, and none of the fans, was a bad idea in 2002. Ridiculous. Anyone with a brain in their skull knew the '09 trade was moronic, arse covering, b.s. trade typical of the boulez under Pollin. Everyone knew the Ves pick, and the latest trade were simply in keeping with the general incompetence of the team for four decades running. You're (the media) a little late to the party when you're arguing these points for the first time nearly 4 years after the fact. Geeze.

I was disgusted by the article. Lee shouldn't have written it.

That article took 2 sentences of substance and stretched it to two pages. Puff piece doesn't even begin to cover it. It was journalistic cotton candy.

a) Grunfeld has no excuses to lean on except for the one that Wall and Nene have been injured.
b) We have since tempered our expectations and you fans out there should to.

No mention of:
a) Why sign Webster after signing Ariza
b) Why can't this roster full of shooters shoot?
c) A fast tempo offense does not look to be the system in place. Does that change when Wall comes back or would Wall have to conform to the current slow pace?
d) How did Wall manage to shoot 7% from 3 last season? Any thoughts? Comments?
e) Why is there not a single player on the roster that averages more than 30 mpg?
f) How much of the checklist from 2010 has been ticked off, and have there been any updates to that 5-year-plan?

def fluff piece on EG. What's the point?

re the GS game, I'm clearly rationalizing now, but if Nene shoots a normal
(for him) percentage, we win the game. He missed a ton of shots right
at the rim. Oh well. I guess you can always point to things like that, either
positive or negative to 'explain' a win or loss. In our case, most often a loss.

getting out-rebounded like that was really awful. Since when is GS a strong
rebounding team (typed naively without looking at any stats advanced or otherwise)?

Dray Green, another player we could have had if we had bothered.

Doesn't bring any veteran leadership. Not someone we could stash either, because we didn't need any more young talent.
